Doctors at NCR are conducting a research study for adults living with obesity, both with and without type 2 diabetes. The study is testing an investigational medication called CagriSema and comparing it to semaglutide, a medication already used for weight management. There is no placebo in this study.

CagriSema is a once‑weekly injection that combines two medicines that work like natural hormones to help control hunger, digestion, and blood sugar. Because of this, the medication may help people feel full faster, stay full longer, and eat less, which can lead to weight loss.

Everyone in the study will also work with a registered dietitian to support healthy eating habits and physical activity. The main goal is to see how well each medication helps people with obesity lose weight at varying doses.
