Brief Summary: Nocturia is a condition in which you wake up during the night because you have to urinate. Nocturia is one of the most common symptoms in males with an enlarged prostate gland (known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH). Nocturia may have a range of detrimental effects because of the associated sleep disturbance with consequent reduced quality of life, mood disturbance, reduced productivity at work, and increased falls and fractures in elderly people.

Doctors at National Clinical Research are studying an investigational medication that is being evaluated for the treatment of men suffering from nocturia and BPH. The main purpose of the study is to find out if the study drug can help effectively and safely in the treatment of nocturia in men with BPH.

Key Inclusion / Exclusion Criteria:
  • History of nocturia for 1 year
  • Two or more voids per night
  • Diagnosis of BPH
  • Persistent nocturia despite lifestyle modifications
Enrollment: Open
Patient Commitment Duration:  16 weeks
Patient Compensation: You may be reimbursed up to $450 for your participation.
Number of Visits in Study: 9 office visits
