| Brief Summary: |
The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the superior healing effects of the study medication compared to currently prescribed therapy in the treatment of patients with moderate to extreme pain due to acute gouty arthritis. |
| Key Inclusion / Exclusion Criteria: |
- Have history of gout symptoms
- Experience moderate to severe pain from gouty arthritis attacks
- On average, have 2+ attacks each year
