It’s not unusual to find people being treated with 2 or 3 blood pressure medications, 1 to 2 cholesterol medications, 3 to 4 diabetes medications, and aspirin to prevent these problems. Now scientists have suggested putting the key medications into a single pill, called the polypill. They project that this pill alone will lower heart disease by 80%.
